◆ questions

Questions, answered plainly.

Everything people actually ask before trusting a terminal with their money — and the honest answer, including where the limits are.

What is amparo?
amparo is a private terminal for prediction markets that runs in your browser. It puts Polymarket, Myriad, Azuro and Limitless on one board so you bet where the price is best, moves euros to crypto and back over SEPA through your own Kraken or Coinbase account, hedges bookmaker free bets (matched betting), trades Hyperliquid perpetuals, and swaps or bridges without gas — all over accounts and wallets you control.
Does amparo hold my money or my keys?
No. Your wallet is generated and encrypted in your browser, and your password never reaches our servers — so we hold only ciphertext we cannot decrypt, and neither can anyone who breaches us. Every order and transfer is signed on your device.
How much does it cost?
A flat license: your first login starts a 7-day free trial, then it is 5 USDC every two weeks. There are no commissions, no spread and no percentage of anything — amparo is software, not a broker, and it never touches your money.
What is matched betting?
Bookmakers give away free bets and boosted odds as promotions. Matched betting covers the opposite outcome of that promo on a prediction market like Polymarket, so whichever side wins, you come out ahead. amparo finds the matching market, sizes the hedge and locks the result.
Which exchanges and markets does it connect to?
Kraken and Coinbase for SEPA euros in and out, Polymarket, Myriad, Azuro and Limitless for prediction markets — aggregated into one board — Hyperliquid for perpetuals, CoW for gasless swaps and Across for bridging between networks — always through your own accounts and API keys.
How do I get access?
amparo is open to everyone — create your account and your free 7-day trial starts at first login. Got a member's referral code? Add it at sign-up: they earn 40% of your payments, forever, in USDC, and it costs you nothing extra.
Does amparo have an AI assistant?
Yes. Ask amparo reads your own balances, bets and P&L to answer questions in plain words, and it can set up an action for you — a bet, a sale, a swap, a transfer and more — as a card. Nothing is ever signed on your behalf: you tap approve and the transaction is signed in your browser, on your keys. It's part of paid membership, and you opt in to AI processing before it runs.
Can I use amparo from Telegram or Discord?
Yes. Link your account once, then message the amparo assistant on Telegram or Discord to ask about your account and get alerts when orders fill, take-profits or stops hit, or markets resolve. Ask it to do something and it replies with a one-tap link that opens amparo, where you review, approve and sign — the bots read your account but can never move your money.
Does amparo protect against currency swings?
Yes. Currency protection opens a matching EUR/USD position so the euros you hold as dollars keep their value when the exchange rate moves. Arm it in one tap, or have it protect new deposits automatically. It costs about 0.04% to open and runs on your own keys, so amparo never holds the position. It offsets EUR/USD drift only — it is not insurance against a losing bet or trade.
Does amparo help with taxes?
Yes. amparo collects every deposit, trade, bet and fee from all your connected venues into one statement, priced in euros, and estimates your realized gains with FIFO lots — matched bets reconciled so the locked result counts once. Export it as CSV for your advisor in one click. It is an informational report, not tax advice.
Is amparo open source — and how do I know the vault runs that code?
The part that guards your money is. The amparo vault — the separate page at vault.amparo.systems where your password is typed, your key is unlocked, and every transaction is shown to you and approved — is open source, and the exact bundle it serves is published with every file pinned by hash. Rebuild it from the source and you get the same bytes; run the one-command check against the live vault to confirm nothing was injected or swapped. The dashboard around it is proprietary, but it cannot see your password or your key — it can only ask the vault for a signature you approve. See the vault source and its verification guide.
